We are a proud 7th generation family company with 150 years of history and tradition. Quietly located and cozy, the Pension Gasthof Schneider is an ideal starting point for your day, bike and hiking tours.

The Gasthof Schneider is located in a very quiet location in the heart of the Franconian beer region and the biker paradise "Franconian Switzerland". Still very easy to reach because it is located on the A73: From the south, exit "Forchheim Nord", coming from the north, exit "Buttenheim".

From here it is only about 25 km to the world-famous old town of Bamberg or the university town of Erlangen. The festival venue of Bayreuth and the Middle Franconian metropolis of Nuremberg can also be easily reached in less than an hour by car or motorcycle.
